ALPLA had offline data from many sources moving around primarily in Excel files.
They needed to combine data from all its factories and operational centers as well as create an analytics and Business Intelligence layer on top for their management and controlling teams to have a broad overview of the company's performance and slide & dice the data to dig in deeper to specific areas of interest.
We implemented the Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence project where our experts provided their technical expertise and handled a major part of the implementation as ALPLA's technology partner.
Our team cleaned, migrated, and transformed from on-premise sources and offline Excel files to ALPLA's cloud data warehouse on Azure which offered a single point of truth to all stakeholders. We then implemented a Power BI layer to prepare pre-built and ad hoc reports for ALPLA's management and controlling teams.
The overall project timeline took around 6 months from the preparation workshop to the final hand-off of the deliverables.
ITMAGINATION's project team consisted of a Delivery Center Manager, Project Manager, Data Engineer and Business Intelligence Developer.
Thanks to the implementation of the project, it is now much easier for ALPLA's management and controlling teams get a bird's eye view of the sales and factory performance and then dig in by slicing & dicing the data.
They are now able to have all relevant information available in a single view and make decisions faster and more effectively.
