The Challenge

Danone needed an all-in-one Business Intelligence solution for the whole group’s sales and finance departments. Business users needed quick access to crucial company KPIs. Multiple business areas included sales, purchasing, finance, marketing, and operations in 11 countries across the CEE and Nordic regions.

The Solution

Our partnership started with a complete redesign of the business analytics architecture with migration of multiple technologies to Microsoft Azure.

We worked closely with key business users to deliver real value to daily work and insights about market changes in each segment of Danone’s products. We supported 4 streams in 11 countries: dairy, water, nutrition and medical.

Our team integrated internal company systems (SAP, Navision & others) with external sources, such as SFA solutions, market, sell-through and sell-out data.

The Results

  • We successfully delivered over 50 BI projects over a period of 6 years
  • Additionally, we’ve provided financial planning and forecasting solutions, custom applications supporting manufacturing operations, data source management and master data mapping
  • Our solution improved sales planning quality for products and customers. The effectiveness of the sales force operations increased. We minimized lost sales and retail chains being out of stock
  • Top management can now make better, informed decisions based on a full analysis of income, cost and effective margin on customer and product levels
