Danone significantly improved sales planning, financial forecasting, and decision-making across 11 countries, delivering crucial insights to business users in near-real-time.

This was made possible by implementing a comprehensive Business Intelligence solution that integrated data spanning multiple business areas including sales, purchasing, finance, marketing, and operations.

Danone is a French multinational food-product corporation based in Paris and founded in Barcelona, Spain.

It is a world-leading food company built on four business lines: Fresh Dairy Products, Water, Early Life Nutrition, Advanced Medical Nutrition. Danone is present in over 130 markets and generated sales of €21.9 billion in 2016, with more than half of that in emerging countries.

ITMAGINATION developed two projects for Tikkurila. The first project is a Self-Service BI Platform to assure continuous reporting during and after a new ERP rollout in the entire organization.

The second project was an IoT Predictive Maintenance platform with the goal of optimizing costs of production, line maintenance, and minimizing downtime.

Tikkurila is a leading Nordic paint company with expertise in the industry since 1862. They develop premium surfaces products and services for their customers. They operate in eleven countries and have over 2,400 dedicated professionals on board. In 2020, their revenue totaled EUR 582 million. In June 2021, Tikkurila became part of PPG.

Hochland speeds up time-to-insight from 1 week to under 1 day by switching 100+ users from Excel to  Power BI and enhances its decision-making processes by implementing a scalable data warehouse - integrating 26 data sources into a unified, cloud-based, self-service solution. ITMAGINATION acted as the BI & Analytics technology partner on this large-scale project.
