We are looking for experienced team players to fill the Senior Big Data Developer position and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the banking industry.
You can expect:
- Design, develop, and optimize large-scale data pipelines to process structured and unstructured financial data
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide data-driven insights and optimize data workflows
- Ensure data quality, security, and integrity across all systems
Requirements
- Min. 5 years of experience as a Big Data Developer or similar role
- Proficiency with Big Data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc.
- Solid experience in programming languages Python or Scala
- Experience in Complex SQL
- Strong understanding of distributed computing principles and algorithms
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with cloud-native big data solutions (e.g., AWS EMR, GCP Dataproc)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on optimization and performance
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- English skills (min. C1)
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with data governance practices and security standards
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for big data solutions
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
